The question of processing of Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE) signals is of prime importance,
it allows to assess material integrity and quantify detected flaws with reliability. The scope of the Eight International
Workshop will be particularly focused on the cross-fertilization of the fields of NDE and signal processing with participation of
international specialists from both fields. Additionally, the Workshop will be an opportunity to perform a reflection on recent developments
and also analyze new emerging techniques which are seen promising.
We recall that the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth, Seventh, Eight Workshops were held respectively in 1987, 1993, 1997, 2001,
2005 and 2009, 2013, 2017 all in Québec city (but the 6th edition held in London, Ontario: the Workshop was part of the First Canadian conference on NDE,
"Canada NDT Conference 2009" organized jointly with the
CINDE - Canadian Institute for NDE).
The Seventh Workshop was also jointly organized with the
16th International Symposium on Applied Electromagnetics
and Mechanics (
16th ISEM). The VIIIth Workshop was held jointly with
a prestigious event:
AITA 2017. Please refer to that website for all information.
The 9th Workshop will be held in 2020, jointly with the
SHM-NDT 2020).
